How it Works
 

Once you sign up, you will instantly have access to a secure, online medical record file where you will enter as much or as little information about yourself and your medical history as you would like. Once you have completed entering your information you will have the ability to print out two critical items:
Emergency ID Card(s) – We recommend keeping one of these in your wallet or purse as that is the first place EMT’s and emergency room staff are instructed to search for information. Print out as many as you would like so you feel confident it would be available in the event of an emergency.
Personal Health Record (PHR) – You have the ability to print either a basic or a detailed version of your PHR. Again, we recommend keeping at least one of these important documents around the house. They are also a great tool to take directly to your doctor’s office for routine visits.
That’s it! Once we have your information on file, you are all set. In the event of an emergency, either you or someone on your behalf will find the ID card and contact our call center. Upon verification of the situation we can provide the necessary information to the doctors and nurses in charge of your care.
   

They will have instant access to your detailed medical history, known allergies, current medications and special conditions. This information could save your life! We also can, at your request, initiate family preparedness plans including contacting your loved ones to let them know where you are. Should the need arise, we can also maintain copies of an Advance Directive or Durable Power of Attorney in the event you are unable to communicate your wishes.
Should you ever need assistance while away from home, we can provide instant access to your medical records anywhere in the world as well as provide translation services if you are out of the country. Leave home with the peace of mind knowing this information is right at your fingertips yet safe from theft.

We also offer child / teen safety programs. Identification cards, emergency stickers or temporary “I’m lost” tattoos are all available to provide peace of mind that your child will be safe should you become separated. If we are notified that a child is missing we will immediately contact local authorities as well as serve as a command center in case someone else finds your child and calls us.
